Oladapo Fepetu

Oladapo Fapetu is a Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He holds B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D in Banking and Finance. He started his teaching career on March 1, 2000 as a Graduate Assistant, Department of Banking and Finance, University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and rose to the position of Lecturer I on October 1, 2012. He was appointed a Senior Lecturer and Ag. Head, Department of Banking and Finance, College of Management Sciences, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokunta, Ogun State, Nigeria on June 30, 2015. Professor Fapetu was elevated to position of a Reader on October 1, 2018 and became full Professor on March 9, 2023. He is an erudite scholar who has published in reputable journals at both local and international outlets. He is a member of many academic and professional bodies, among them are Fellow, Nigeria Society for Financial Research; member African Financial Research and Development and member Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. His areas of research interest include international finance, development finance, informal finance, money and banking. Presently, he is the Head, Department of Finance, Faculty of Management Sciences. Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
