Oluwaleke Umar Yusuf

Oluwaleke Yusuf holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master's degree in Robotics, Control, and Smart Systems from The American University in Cairo, Egypt. He has worked in the Construction Industry as a field maintenance personnel and later as an operations management expert in the Telecommunications Industry. His research interests lie at the intersection of Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with a focus on utilizing advances in data-driven neural network architectures and algorithms to address the problem of perception in robotics and machine intelligence. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, where his research is centred on developing Digital Twins of urban mobility infrastructures using AI and Big Data, with the ultimate objective of achieving carbon neutrality in mobility.
