Oris T. Griffin

Oris Griffin serves as Associate Dean of Diversity Equity and Inclusivity at James Madison University. She is an Adult Education/Human Resource Development professor at the College of Education, where she has served on the faculty for over 33 years. In addition to teaching courses in Diversity, Human Resource Development, and Leadership, her research focus is student access, inclusion, and retention. She is also a member of the National Associational of Diversity Educators in Higher Education (NADOHE). She serves as Vice President of the Virginia chapter of the National Association for Multicultural Education (VA-NAME).
