Patrícia Arroxelas Galvão

Patrícia Galvão has a Ph.D. in Tourism (UFRN), with a doctoral internship at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Lisbon (IGOT/ULISBOA), Portugal; Master's degree in Geography (UFPE); Bachelor's degree in Tourism (UFPE). Professor and Researcher at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE). Teaches courses in the Tourism and Hospitality field, including distance learning. Researcher at the Education and Work Research Group (IFAL) and PLANTUR (UFS). Involved in research and extension projects in the Mata Sul region of Pernambuco. Has experience in the field of Tourism, focusing mainly on the following topics: public policies, local development planning, environment, community-based tourism, and hospitality.
