Patricia Dixon

Patricia Dixon is a graduate student at West Chester University (WCU) where she is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Trauma. Her research interests include how family factors relate to youth psychological outcomes, how exposure to adversity and trauma early in life may influence college students’ help-seeking behaviors for mental health concerns, and racial and ethnic disparities in mental health care. Patricia also works as a data analyst for the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at WCU, in which she vets research protocols submitted to the Institutional Review Board. She is a student affiliate of the American Psychological Association and an associate member of the National Register of Health Services Psychologists.
