Paula Wabner Binfare

Paula Binfare has a Ph.D. in Tourism from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, with part of the doctoral research (The conceptual transformations of tourism in the light of the complexity of leisure in hypermodernity) conducted at the University of Aveiro, Portugal(2015/2016). Graduated in Tourism from the Faculdades Integradas Associação de Ensino de Santa Catarina (1999), Specialized in Entrepreneurial Tourism (UFSC, 2000), and Master in Communication Sciences from the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, 2005. She has been a higher education teacher since 2002 and a full-time professor at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (Hospitality, Leisure, and Tourism axis), in the Tourism Management and Events courses. She is currently a visiting professor at the University of Central Florida, where she conducts research related to tourism and leisure experiences in the Department of Artificial Intelligence. She is dedicated to research with an emphasis on the epistemology of Leisure and Tourism, is a member researcher and professor of the MBA in Innovation Management of the International EulaGtec Project - Erasmus + and a member of the Internationalization Research Group (Ginter) at IFRN. She is a researcher in the research group Center for Research and Training in Technologies and Education for Sustainable Development (NuTEDS), at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte.”
