Phan Truong Khanh

Phan Truong Khanh - Vice Dean, Faculty of Engineering-Technology-Environment, An Giang University. He has 15 years of experience in environmental and natural resource management such as: Identify vegetation structure, biomass and carbon stocks of wetlands, building of vegetation cover maps by using remote sensing and GIS. Moreover, He also has done researches on water balance for floodplains, calculating water needs for agriculture, interpreting remote sensing images to estimate evapotranspiration for crops. Determining the flooded area for the delta or the area of land was affected by saltwater intrusion to serve crop planning, towards smart and sustainable agriculture.
