Piotr Sugier is a Ph.D., Associate Professor; Department of Botany, Mycology and Ecology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Poland). Research interests: plant ecology, the role of the sediment seed-bank in the preservation and regeneration of macrophytes, factors modifying chemical properties of secondary metabolites of medicinal plants, vegetation of the abandoned waste deposits.
