Prateek Srivastava

Prateek Srivastava is currently working as Associate Professor in Chitkara University Innovation and Research Network, Chitkara University, Punjab. In addition, has additional charge of Manager-Technology Enabling Center (A Govt. of India funded project) at Chitkara University, Punjab India. He received his Ph.D. in the field of Advanced Air Conditioning System (Energy Efficiency) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. He completed his M.Tech. (Thermal Engineering) from National Institute of Technology, Silchar, India. He completed his B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. His areas of research include: Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Building Energy Efficiency, Green Buildings, Energy Recovery, Renewable Energy, Water recycling. He has over 25 publications in international journals of repute including SCOPUS, Web of Science and SCI indexed database and refereed international conferences. He has 4 granted patents to his credit. He has a total of 3 years of experience in teaching and research. He was winner of prestigious Building Energy Efficiency Higher and Advanced Network (BHAVAN) Fellowship supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, and the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF). He is certified Zero Effect Zero Defect (ZED) consultant, ZED is a process rating system for MSME companies implemented by Quality Council of India (QCI). He is an active member of Radiant Cooling System Technical Group of Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). He is Chair-Student Activities and BOG member of ASHRAE Chandigarh Chapter for SY 2021-2022. He is member of energy management group responsible for energy audit, energy conservation and green building initiatives, started energy conservation club for students at Chitkara University. He has organized various Faculty Development Programmes, International Conferences, Workshops, and Seminar for researchers, Ph.D., UG and PG level students.
