Prince N. Ololube

Prince Nwachukwu Ololube is Professor of Educational Management and Leadership in the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Professor Ololube is a Fellow of the Chattered Institute of Administration of Nigeria (FCIA), Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Fellow, National Institute for Education and Research, India, and the immediate past Director of Information and Communication Technology Centre of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education. Prof. Ololube has several awards to his honour, among them are: The Presidency: Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Appreciation for the 2011 CGS-LG Monitoring, Supervision and Data Collection, Nigerian Merit Gold Award for Productivity and Best Paper Award: The International Applied Business Research (IABR) and College Teaching & Learning (TLC) Conferences, held in Cancun, Mexico. Professor Ololube holds a Ph.D. in Education and Teacher Education with focus in Educational Management and Planning from the University of Helsinki, Finland. In addition, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Masters of Education in Educational Management and Planning from Delta state University, Abraka, and a Bachelors of Science Education in Political Science from the University of Port Harcourt. Professor Ololube’s research focuses on institutional management and leadership in higher education, organizational culture, justice and change, school business administration/management, ICT in higher education, school effectiveness, instructional effectiveness, quality improvement, and research methodologies. Wherever Professor Ololube finds himself and have always been, he always displayed the same enthusiasm and dynamism toward inspiring and motivating his students. He challenges students to think critically and independently. Professor Ololube enjoys teaching as much as he is motivated to do research. He has published over 80 articles in refereed journals, written 9 textbooks, edited 12 books, contributed over 40 chapters to a number of books and encyclopedias. Professor Ololube has presented over 40 articles at various local and international conferences and published them in conference proceedings. In all, Professor Ololube has authored and/or co-authored more than one hundred and eighty (180+) publications. His professional contributions to the academic community include: Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Scientific Research in Education (IJSRE); Editor, Online Journal of Education Research (OJER); Editorial Board Member, International Journal of Economics Education and Development (IJEED). International Editorial Review Board Member: International Journal of Management in Education (IJMIE); International Journal of Information and Communications Technology Education (IJICTE); Editorial Board Member: Journal of Information Systems Education (JISE), Academic Editor: British Journal of Education, Society & Behavioural Science (BJESBS), and many more. Professor Ololube was ranked among the very best 100 of the top 800 scientists in Nigeria institutions of higher education and the best scientist in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education from October 2015—till date, according to Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, Spain: Ranking of scientists in Nigeria institutions according to Google Scholar Citations public profiles.
