R. Arun

R. Arun is an Assistant Professor in department of Management Studies, St,Josephs college of Engineering, Chennai. Dr. R.Arun has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has presented more than 52 Papers in National and International Conferences and more than 26 publications in reputed National and International journals like SCOPUS, Web of Science and UGC Care Listed. He has been awarded various awards like Best Volunteer Award 2016, BEST Faculty Award 2017, Best Young Faculty Award 2018, Teaching And Research Excellence Award 2019, Global Achievement Award 2022 and recently he received BEST SOCIAL SCIENTIST AWARD 2023. He also received a Minor Research Project, Sanctioned an amount of RS.2, 55,000 by UGC-South Eastern Regional Office, New Delhi. He also published two Books and Filed 2 Patents. His research interests include Marketing, Human Resources Management, Hospitality Management, Digital Marketing, Financial Service and Security Markets, Entrepreneurial Development, Logistics and Supply Chain, Food Safety & Hygiene, Service Management, Culture and Tourism, Information Technology and Consumer Behavior. He holds a B.Sc., Catering Science & Hotel Management degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, MBA from Annamalai University and Ph.D. in Management from the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
