Rasel Babu

Rasel Babu is a doctoral student of the department of Educational and Counselling Psychology of McGill University. His previous degrees include Master of Education and Master of Philosophy from University of Dhaka. With extensive experiences in education research and university teaching Mr. Babu has passed more than a decade in the field of education. During this period he has worked with the Institute of Education and Research of University of Dhaka, BRAC, BRAC University, and JICA. Educational technology in classrooms is his area of interest. Additionally, he conducted studies on teachers’ and students’ lives, educational assessment, and school culture. His major research projects are evaluation of Computer Aided Learning program of BRAC, national level survey on teachers, ethnography on school culture, youth perception survey on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Mr. Babu has vastly published in the form of journal articles, research reports, monographs, and book chapters. His latest research on response, readiness and challenges of online teaching during COVID-19 pandemic has been published in Educational and Developmental Psychologist.
