Rashmi Khazanchi

Rashmi Khazanchi is presently pursuing Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence in Education from the Open University of the Netherlands. She holds an Educational Specialists Degree in Curriculum and Instructions, a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Psychology and Behavior Modification, and a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. She has 20+ years of teaching experience in K-12 classrooms. Her specializations include behavior modification, special education, and science, and her areas of research interest include artificial intelligence in education, gamification, human cognition architecture, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. She is serving as a Chair of Research and Evaluation SIG at the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE). She has been associated with professional educational organizations, such as SITE and AERA, and is actively involved with different SIGs as a reviewer and presenter. She has presented several peer-reviewed papers at various national and international conferences. She has authored several book chapters and articles related to artificial Intelligence in education, effective pedagogical practices, inclusive education, and integrating technology in K-12 classroom to support students with and without disabilities.
