S. Raschid Muller

S. Raschid Muller is a Cybersecurity Executive with 20 years of experience working in the federal government. Academically, he serves as a Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus where he teaches undergraduate courses within the School of Cybersecurity and Information Technology. At the graduate level, he chairs doctoral committees at Capitol Technology University and also teaches doctoral courses within the School of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of the Cumberlands. Dr. Muller previously served as the DISA Information Operation Faculty Chair from 2017-2019 at National Defense University and continues to serve as a guest lecturer. Dr. Muller is a 2020 Brookings Institute - LEGIS Fellow and 2021 U.C. Berkeley ELA Fellow in the Goldman School of Public Policy. In 2020 he served on the House Committee for Homeland Security on Capitol Hill. He has been assigned to the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Innovation (CIPI) where his portfolio included; Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) oversight, drafting and introducing cyber legislation, election security, and cyber acquisitions.
