Sadrag Panduleni Shihomeka

Sadrag Panduleni Shihomeka holds a PhD in Media and Communication from the Department of Media and Communication at the School of History, Culture, and Communication, Erasmus University Rotterdam. His PhD research project focused on citizen engagement: politics and digital media in Namibia. Additionally; MBA and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary). Currently, Dr Shihomeka is the Head of Department for Higher Education and Lifelong Learning as well as a Senior Lecturer for Media, Educational Technologies and Research in the same Department in the School of Education at the University of Namibia. He is a Digital Ethnographer and served in different capacities as a lecturer, undergraduate and postgraduate research supervisor, consultant, secondary school teacher and facilitator for various workshops and trainings in Namibia. His research interests are on new media and politics; inclusive/exclusive democracy and virtual spheres; digital literacy and politics, educational technologies, education and politics, digital democracy, digital divide, political participation, Digital Skilling, Digital Romance and Cyber Bullying/crime, Social Media Ethic.
