Sarani Bhaumik

Sarani Bhaumik is a well-recognized tourism academician, having fifteen years of professional experience including working in the tourism industry, teaching, training and research. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Management from Aliah University, Kolkata. She also obtained few professional courses like a Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Research In Management, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Instructional Design, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Instructional Design, a graduate Diploma in Educational Administration and Supervision, Post-Graduate Diploma in Event Management and Promotions, Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Post Graduate Diploma in International Business and Operations, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, Diploma in Training & Development, Diploma in IATA/UFTAA Foundation and EBT Course, Enter the world of Amadeus (ETWA-AMA), Enter the world of Automated Ticketing (ETWAT-AMA) from various recognised institutions. She has published many papers in international and national journals and also contributed many book chapters. She is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), All India Management Association (AIMA), Local Management Association: Calcutta Management Association, National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN), Responsible Tourism Society of India (RTSOI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) & Associate member of Public Relation Society of India (PRSI). Her current research interests are Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) based Tourism, Responsible Tourism and Community Development.
