Shailendra Palvia

Shailendra Palvia is Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. He also taught at Kent State University for two years. He has been in industry for twelve years with the Federal Reserve Bank, Hennepin County, Control Data Corporation, and IBM. His research interests include implementation of MIS/DSS, mode of presentation for problem framing and problem solving, managing the system development process, and global issues of information technology management. Professor Palvia has published in MIS quarterly, Information & Management, Information Resources Management Journal, Journal of Information Systems, and International Journal of Information Management. He has also published twenty-four papers in several regional, national, and international conference proceedings. He is a member of the Decision Science Institute (DSI), the Institute of Management Sciences (TIMS), Society for Information Management (SIM), and American Statistical Association (ASA).
