Sílvia Ribeiro

Sílvia Maria Rocha Ribeiro completed her Ph.D. in Psychology on June 26, 2019, at the University of Porto Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She also holds a Master's degree in Clinical, Cognitive-behavioral, and Systemic Psychology, obtained in 2006 from the University of Coimbra Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusíada Porto and holds positions in various institutions, including Administration Regional de Saúde do Norte IP, Instituto Português de Psicologia e Outras Ciências, Sociedade Portuguesa de Sexologia Clínica, and Direção Regional da Educação do Norte. Sílvia is a Clinical Psychologist Sexual Therapist at Clínica da Saúde and is involved in research at Universidade Lusíada Porto's Center for Research in Developmental Psychology. Her academic interests lie in the fields of Psychology and Law, with a focus on Criminology. Sílvia has published one article in specialized journals and her work often revolves around themes such as psychotherapy.
