Susanne Sahlin

Susanne Sahlin (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the Department of Education, Mid Sweden University, in Sweden. She is the Director of the National School Leadership Training Programme and is also responsible for the pre-service preparation programme for aspiring principals and CPD for experienced principals. Her research interests are principal leadership, organization and preparation, and professional development for school leaders. Her most recent work is: ‘Professional development of school principals – how do experienced school leaders make sense of their professional learning?’ (2023) in Educational Leadership Management & Administration, and ‘Teachers Making Sense of Principals’ Leadership in Collaboration Within and Beyond School’ (2022) in Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research.
