Syed Khalid Perwez

Syed Perwez is a M.A, MBA, Ph.D. & FDPM – (IIM-A). presently designated as Professor in OB & HR area, teaching since more than twelve years to under graduate, post graduate and doctoral management students in VIT Business School, VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He has more than 5 years of industry experience in reputed pharmaceutical company like Cipla Ltd, and Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. Dr.Syed has produced four doctorates under his guidance and also supervising 6 more Ph.D. research scholars. He has completed one funded research project grant aid of Rs- 5.64 lakhs sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. He has published 34 research journal publications in the reputed peered reviewed international and national journals indexed in Scopus as well as ABDC listed journal. He wrote two case study with teaching notes and published two book chapters. Dr. Syed has performed key administrative roles such as Divisional Chair for OB & HR Division, Program Chair - BBA, Time Table Coordinator, Exam Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, RAAC Coordinator, Proctor Coordinator, MBA Capstone and Internship Project Coordinator, Entrepreneur-Cell Coordinator, and Sports Coordinator. He has conducted many training programs, MDPs, FDPs and also facilitated the training sessions. He has received many prestigious awards such as Best Research Award, Research Award for the contribution to research through Sponsored Research Project by VIT, Star Performer Award, I- Man Award by Nicholas Piramal India Ltd in Bangkok, Thailand, 2006, Received first prize in the faculty debate competition in Teachers Day, Received Best Management Student Talent Award in Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa by Shri. Sharat Kar (Education Minister of Orissa) in 2000, Passed the 34th Annual All India UN Information Test conducted all over India by Council for UN Information, a wing of USO and get a Pre-Senior UN Information Certificate by UNO, on 31st August, 1991. .
