Tanya Fitzgerald

Tanya Fitzgerald is Professor of Educational Leadership, Management and History at La Trobe University (Australia). She is the author of numerous books and articles that examine historical and contemporary perspectives on gender, leadership and higher education. Recent publications include Women Leaders in Higher Education: Shattering the Myths (Routledge, 2014) and Women Educators, Leaders and Activists: Educational Lives and Networks 1900-1960 (co-edited with Elizabeth Smyth). Tanya is co-editor of the Journal of Educational Administration and History, and Vice President of the Australian and New Zealand History of Education Society. She tweets @tanya_fitz.
