Vasiliki Yotsidi

Vasiliki Yotsidi is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Department of Psychology at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens, Greece. She is the Scientific Coordinator of the Practicum Training and a member of the Laboratory of Clinical Psychology & Psychopathology, Social Psychiatry and Developmental Psychology at the Department of Psychology. She graduated from the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and she holds two Master's degrees in Counselling Psychology and in Social Exclusion & Minorities. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Panteion and she is specialized in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling (University of Sussex, UK). She has a 25-year clinical experience at public and private psychiatric hospitals and community mental health services as well as in private practice with adults, adolescents, and parents. She was appointed Head of the Drug Demand Reduction Section of the University Mental Health Research Institute and Research Associate at the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health, while she has participated in expert groups of the EU member-states on addiction prevention and treatment issues. She has published books, and articles in peer-reviewed journals/collected volumes and given numerous lectures and papers at scientific meetings and conferences. She is the co-coordinator of the Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology Section of the Greek Psychological Society and a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Positive Psychology.
