Vishvesh Joshi

Vishvesh Joshi is currently serving as V.P(R&D) at Chartwell Pharmaceuticals, NY, USA. Dr Joshi has 19 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience with over 10 years in leading cross functional CMC teams. From 2019-23, he served as V.P(R&D) of Alembic Labs, USA. From 2013-18 he served as Director(R&D&BD), Phoenix Pharmaceuticals. From 2005-13 he advanced through various R&D managerial positions in Dr Reddy’s, Piramal Healthcare and in Phoenix Pharmaceutical, USA. He also worked as a consultant to various pharmaceutical companies. He has contributed to the development of platform technologies in controlled and extended-release dosage forms and approval of more than 50 “ANDAs”. His expertise is in developing dosage forms like oral solids, liquids, pediatric formulations and injectables in the form of Liposomes, SLNP and nanocomplex. Dr Joshi Holds a Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. He has authored and co-authored several research publications and book chapters.
