Wei Qi Yan

Wei Qi Yan is the Director of Centre for Robotics & Vision (CeRV), Auckland University of Technology (AUT), his expertise is in deep learning, intelligent surveillance, computer vision, multimedia, etc. Dr. Yan has published over 250 research papers, his research distinctions include the published Springer monographs: Computational Methods for Deep Learning (2021), Introduction to Intelligent Surveillance (2019), etc. Dr. Yan is the Chair of the ACM Multimedia Chapter of New Zealand, a Member of the ACM, a Senior Member of the IEEE, TC members of the IEEE. Dr. Yan was a visiting professor with the National University of Singapore (NUS, QS Ranking #11), Singapore.
