William Alberto Cruz Castañeda

William Alberto Cruz Castañeda is currently AI Research Lead at Alana AI. Holds B.Sc. degree in computer sciences from Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, México (2006). Master's and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil (2011 and 2016 respectively). His lines of research interest include ubiquitous computing, machine learning, predictive models, decision-making, and natural language processing. Interests also include the design, development, and deployment of large-scale platforms to enable and enhance data-driven applications, in particular, to provide heterogeneous solutions.
