William Leslie Brown-Acquaye

William Brown-Acquaye is a seasoned professional in Information Systems and Technology, renowned for his extensive experience and leadership within academia and the field of industrial technological processes. For over 15 years, Dr. Brown-Acquaye has been an integral part of the Ghana Technology University College (GTUC), currently serving as the Head of the Information Systems Department since March 2018. His tenure has been marked by significant contributions in curriculum development, instructional design, and the implementation of learning management systems. As a Senior Lecturer since August 2017, he has demonstrated adeptness in training delivery, utilizing his expertise to enhance learning experiences. His responsibilities extended to the coordination of the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems since January 2016, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape and fostering growth within this domain. Dr. Brown-Acquaye holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Automation of Industrial Technological Processes and Productions, which he earned from Tambov State Technical University between 2012 and 2015. This academic pursuit showcases his dedication to merging industrial processes with technological advancements. Prior to his Ph.D., he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Systems and Technologies from Tver State Technical University, solidifying his foundational knowledge in Information Systems and Technology between 2002 and 2008. His skill set encompasses a wide array of expertise including training and development, learning management systems, instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery. Dr. Brown-Acquaye's proficiency in these areas has been instrumental in shaping educational programs and improving learning outcomes within his academic sphere.
