I am Poshan (Sam) Yu, a Chinese Australian professional with an astonishingly diverse background and an extensive collection of remarkable accomplishments. In the academic sphere, I currently teach at the University of Victoria Program at Soochow University. Previously, I held the position of an external professor of financial technology and finance at SKEMA Business School. Additionally, I serve as a visiting researcher at the Australian Studies Centre of Shanghai University, a guest professor at emlyon business school China, and an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University's master (finance) program at Renmin University of China. As a visiting professor at Krirk University in Thailand and an EU-Asia research coordinator at the European Business Institute in Luxembourg, I bring a truly global perspective to my teaching and research activities. I am also a member of the IP & Innovation Researchers of Asia (IPIRA) Network and the Global South Dialogue on Economic Crime (GSDEC), further enriching my academic engagement. My prior role as a casual academic at the University of South Australia Business School has significantly enhanced and diversified my academic portfolio. My scholarly pursuits are extensive and multifaceted. As an editor for the European Academic Journal (Special Issue) - European Business Institute in Luxembourg, an associate editor for Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (an SSCI-indexed journal), and an associate editor for the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Science, I play a crucial role in the dissemination of knowledge. I am also an author and reviewer for a number of prestigious journals and academic presses, including Applied Economics, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cogent Economics & Finance, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies, Journal of Digital Learning and Education, The Singapore Economic Review, ILMA Journal of Social Sciences & Economics, Journal of Environmental Issues and Climate Change, Advances in Global Economic and Business Journal, The Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Journal Collection, Common Ground Research Networks, Imprint - Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Innovative Teaching and Learning, IBT Journal of Business Studies, Journal of Infrastructure Policy and Development, and Innovative Informatics and Artificial Intelligence Research. Moreover, I am an international editorial advisory board member for several edited books such as Advancing STEM Education and Innovation in a Time of Distance Learning (Scopus-indexed), Multidisciplinary Perspectives Towards Building a Digitally Competent Society (Scopus-indexed), Handbook of Research on SDGs for Economic Development, Social Development, and Environmental Protection, and Implications for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in the Blue Economy. I have released more than 12 journal articles, among which 6 are listed as ABDC: B/SSCI. I have also contributed over 52 peer-reviewed book chapters imprinted by renowned publishers like IGI Global, Routledge, and Springer. I have edited 13 books, with 7 English edited books indexed by Scopus and 6 Chinese edited books. Notably, the book about Innovation & Exploration: The Development of FinTech in Jiangsu China has received the 14th Outstanding Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Suzhou and the 3rd prize of the 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Education Science Research Achievement Award by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. My receipt of four Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) National University Teaching Innovation Awards from 2016 to 2020 and being recognized as a top contender in the same national competition in 2016 led to my appointment as the Institute of Leadership and Education Advanced Development (ILEAD) Research Fellow by XJTLU. In 2021, I received The Outstanding Contribution Award for Industrial Research Development in China, CIE100 issued by Wisdom China Magazine: Beijing. Beyond academia, I am actively involved in various industries. I am an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, collaborating with alumni and senior faculty members from Cambridge University. Additionally, I am a guest financial news commentator on over 30 media platforms in China. In the business world, I hold significant positions. I am a regional partner in China for FasterCapital based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I also serve as vice president at Tinbowah Investment in Beijing and as an honorary vice president of the Belt and Road Blockchain Association. Furthermore, I mentor businesses for AIC RAISE in Coimbatore, India, the Griffith Industry Mentoring Program in Australia, and University College London Innovation & Enterprise. In 2023, I was invited to act as a venture capital panel judge and mentor at 'Y&Archer A Stream 2023' conference in Jeju, South Korea. My research interests are broad and encompass financial technology, regulatory technology, blockchain, web 3.0 in financial services, generative AI, public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, start-ups, family offices, IoTs, supply chain finance, intellectual property, art finance, wine, back-door listing, and Chinese economy & policy. My extensive experience in international fintech, edtech, startup, social media, and cleantech companies across India, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, and China is truly remarkable. My three-year tenure in prominent leadership positions in Chinese Australian media marketing and public relations in Australia has had a profound influence on my current approach as an academic and business consultant. I am firmly committed to making significant contributions in the fields of academia, industry, and research, and I look forward to continuing this journey in the future.
Dr. Xiaohan Hu is Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning and International Affairs) of SILC Business School, Shanghai University. She is director of Australia Study Center of Shanghai University, Chair Secretary of Sino-Australia Education Cooperation Alignment, Chairman of University International Trade Professional Practice Teaching Union in Shanghai. Dr. Xiaohan Hu graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2003. She teaches Management, Global Strategic Management, Global Context of Management, Integrative Business Perspective and Global Innovation and Chinese Entrepreneurship. Her main research areas are industrial transformation and innovation, cross-border education cooperation and development. In recent years, he has presided over the National Social Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, participated in many NSFC projects and corporate consulting projects. She won the second prize of the 3rd "Developer Excellence" Case Award in 2020, Shanghai Nurturing Award (2012), the Second Prize of Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement (2013) (2022), the First Prize of Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement (2017) (2022). She was a visiting scholar of University of Technology Sydney in 2004 and a visiting scholar of University of Alberta, Canada in 2017. She was awarded the women pace-setter of Shanghai Education System in 2021.
Prof. Ajai Prakash (Ph.D. in Business Administration, LLB, MBA, B.Com) has travelled widely across the globe in his academic rigour. He has worked as Dean, Graduate School at KCA University, Nairobi, Kenya and Professor of Management. He started his career with the industry and later joined as a faculty in the Department of Business Administration, University of Lucknow, India. He works on issues of sustainable development, anti-corruption and globalisation. He is a member of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education group. He has been the First Director of the B.Com (Hons.) course, he has been among top management contributors at his institution with presence in The Planning and Development Board, Member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Placement Coordinator, Member of the Research Committee and at many other important positions. He has the distinction of being awarded the Career Award for Young Teachers by All India Council of Technical Education, India. He has a few projects to his credit. His research contributions count to over 40 research papers, around 100 conferences and 4 books. His interest in innovation and technology has strongly developed his skills and he is well versed with DBMS applications. There are 8 doctoral works under his supervision and five of these works are on allied issues of sustainable development with areas spanning from Banking, Education, Microfinance, Smart Cities, Railway transport to FMCG products. He teaches strategic management, managing for sustainability, international business and business environment. Currently he is working on issues related to corruption in the corporate sector.

Dr. Nyaribo Misuko is a senior lecturer and currently the Dean School of Graduate Studies at KCA University Nairobi Kenya. Dr. Nyaribo holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from MDS University, Ajmer, India. Dr. Nyaribo has been engaged in teaching and research at the university level for the last eighteen years. His area of expertise is management with a special focus on human resource management. Dr. Nyaribo has authored many articles published in peer-review journals. He is a member of professional bodies both locally and internationally In addition to his research work, he has mentored and supervised many master’s students. Gu Haiyue graduated from Nanjing University with a BA in English Language, and acquired a MA at Fudan University in the field of English Literature. Since 2001, Ms Gu has been lecturing and dong research at Shanghai University. As the full-time lecturer at SILC Business School, Shanghai University, she teaches Academic English courses, IELTS preparation, public speaking, Australian society and culture, and elective cultural courses to international students. Ms Gu also works at Australian Studies Centre of Shanghai University as the deputy director. Her main research interests include transnational education, regional studies and Australian studies. She has published papers and books about transnational education between China and Australia.
