Abstract

The present learning teaching process is a transition from ignorance to knowledge. Manifested beings operate in three modes, namely I don't know, I learn, and I know mode. The learning teaching model assumes that the teachers, books, and internet are the sources of knowledge. It is believed that the teacher is imparting the knowledge to the students who are ignorant about the subject of study. The irony is that even though it is the same teacher, same environment, some learn and some fail to learn. This has left many educators and teachers baffled. Sometimes the barrier between a teacher and learner has become a major issue in the learning process. At the end, unfortunately, students are being labeled based on their abilities. From time immemorial, this model is being adopted. Teaching and learning is happening with the primordial ignorance and with limited awareness about the learner. A human being can be considered as an ideal natural learning engine.

Introduction

As educators and academicians and being in life-long learning environment, our goal is to attain and impart knowledge. Above all it ceases the differences, dualities, doubts, confusion and conflicts. But unfortunately in the current education system across the globe, the knowledge an individual are attaining is limited. There are infinite domains and in turn each domain is infinite and it may not be sufficient to master all the knowledge in an individual’s lifetime. At the end of the day the knowledge is limited and it keeps us in darkness making us feel incomplete. The knowledge about something is going to be obsolete sooner or later, it is limited to time space situation. To survive in the world, society, organization with the limited knowledge, an individual ends up managing, manipulating and negotiating no matter whatever the profession. When an individual realizes the constraints, he starts negotiating. When management and negotiations fail, one starts manipulating thus not only disturb oneself, but also the leaving the environment and the surrounding disturbed.

Unfortunately, in this world an individual are bombarded with three sources, one is external objects and people; second is nature outside, the third is health and mind. The very first point implies, there will always conflict of thoughts, duality, confusion and that will not allow us to rest in peace. Second, the nature, such as global warming, pollution, natural calamities, even the tiniest of tiny unseen virus can reduce us to nothing. Lastly when it comes to this body, health issues and at mind level conflicts.

In the relative sense there is no end to learning, hence an individual always remain incomplete, and limited at any point in time. For this very reason for every manifest being undergoes stress, anxiety, depression, fear, frustration, depression, suppression. This leads to decrease in productivity and hence the world is moving towards addressing the issues. It’s time to attain that knowledge that really empowers an individual human beings and Knowledge that transcends time space situation and to be untouched by all these problems.

From the very first day to last, an individual are operating in these two-mode limited being and limited knowledges. This is the root cause of all problems. It is time an individual need to attain such knowledge, attaining which all the doubts, differences, confusion and conflicts cease. That is when an individual can claim our education to be complete, else there is no way the manifest beings will be peaceful, without this knowledge. Such an absolute knowledge is onetime attainment.

What is learning? Why should an individual learn? How does one really learn? What happens in learning process? When to say, one has learnt? Does repeating means one has learnt. What is knowledge? Without having an individual to all these, learning teaching process becomes mechanical and it is not uprooting our primordial ignorance. Necessary transformation that has to happen after learning may not happen. It is time to address these issues.

It is time to pause, wait and understand the real learner, the ideal natural learning engine. This rethinking will go a long way in improving learning and creating a learning environment where learning just happens. Whether an individual like it or not, want it or not, know it or not, every instance inputs are coming and with or without our knowledge learning is happening naturally. To understand such a natural subtle learning engine is the purpose of education.

Earlier the manifest beings become aware of such a beautiful Natural subtle learning engine that one is, better will be the teaching learning process. Knowing which the teaching learning becomes a joyous experience. Also, role of a teacher is just that of a pointer and the pointed.
