Abstract

Several theories and conspiracies have flooded the media regarding the vanishing of Malaysia Airline 370 (MH370) in the Indian Ocean on March 8, 2018. This chapter aims at reviewing these theories to investigate the vanishing of MH370. Futhermore, this chapter also discloses doubts about tracking MH370 as approximately the signal information concerning BTO and BFO is non-existent. This chapter concludes with some theories such as aliens and the Bermuda Triangle that are not scientifically grounded. This chapter suggests a serious concern about the development of ocean dynamic studies as the keystone to investigating the vanishing of MH370 in such an extremely dynamic ocean as the Indian Ocean.

Introduction

It is a challenging mission to comprehend the speculations behind the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370) since some of these assumptions are not scientifically grounded, for instance, those concerning aliens and the Bermuda Triangle. In this scenario, it is not a logical assumption that aliens have hijacked MH370 and besides, the Bermuda Triangle is not geographically located near the South China Sea nor the Indian Ocean. It is just a media brainwash of global audiences.

In this view, both theories are not inadequate in unraveling the mystery of MH370 vanishing. Modern physics and advanced data analysis are necessary to comprehend this catastrophic event. There was continuous research, both hypothetically and experimentally by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), to comprehend precisely the reason for the airplane’s disappearance. In that sense, the mystery of MH370 remains unsolved. This chapter is devoted to delivering novel findings and speculations behind airplane vanishing mechanisms.
