Step 2: Send an Official Request

Once you have chosen the appropriate title for your curriculum, we ask that you kindly send an official university letter (on university letterhead) via fax (717-533-8661) or scanned to marketing@igi-global.com.

In the letter please outline the following details:

  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
  • Publication title
  • Course name
  • Estimated number of copies to be used in your course
  • Date materials are needed by
  • University bookstore contact
  • Format requested. Please specify print or electronic (please note: for courses with less than 10 students, electronic access is the only available format).
Step 3: Ordering Information and Discounts

Print Books:

IGI Global will follow up directly with your university bookstore. Once you officially adopt an IGI Global publication and your university bookstore orders 10 or more copies of the book directly through IGI Global, we will be happy to provide the books at a 60% discount.

Electronic Access:

If electronic access is requested, IGI Global will work directly with the professor and determine the official discount after evaluating the request.

Step 4: After Ordering

After an order is placed for course adoption materials, the desk copy will be provided to the professor at no cost. Print copies are only available upon request. Students will be able to purchase the print books directly through the university bookstore, or they can order the electronic version directly through IGI Global’s online bookstore and receive access instructions.

Many professors choose IGI Global teaching cases in conjunction with IGI Global books to supplement their courses. Teaching cases allow instructors to combine theory with experience. Students can see worldly applications of their classroom knowledge. Visit the Teaching Case homepage to learn more, or start selecting materials now by using the advanced teaching case search features.

Many IGI Global teaching cases and casebooks have related teaching notes that can be requested by contacting cases@igi-global.com.

Please Note

Exempt Publication Formats:

  • Handbooks of Research
  • Encyclopedias
