Amy Hutchison

Amy Hutchison is the Fayard Family Professor of Literacy at The University of Alabama. She is passionate about using digital innovations to provide equitable learning opportunities for all students and prepare them for a future that is constantly changed by digital technologies. In 2020, Dr. Hutchison was awarded the Digital Literacy Changer Award by the International Literacy Association. Dr. Hutchison has received over $7 million in funding from agencies and businesses such as National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education, Google, and Amazon.
