Annemarie Vaccaro

Annemarie Vaccaro (she/her) is an Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Education at the University of Rhode Island (URI). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Castleton State College and a Master’s degree in student affairs in higher education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also has a MA in sociology and Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Denver. Dr. Vaccaro’s scholarship focuses on equity and social [in] justice in higher education. Her qualitative research has been published in higher education, psychology, social justice, and human development journals.
