Avni Berisha

Avni Berisha is a full professor at the University of Prishtina in Kosovo, with extensive expertise in materials chemistry, electrochemistry, and photochemistry. His research focuses on advanced materials applications, including the use of B12N12 nanoclusters, plant extracts as green corrosion inhibitors, and the potential of nanocars for corrosion resistance, utilizing techniques such as DFT, MC, and MD simulations. Prof. Berisha is proficient in techniques like IR reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRRAS), cyclic voltammetry, and ellipsometry, as well as various software tools for data analysis. His extensive research activity, with 494 publications on ResearchGate, demonstrates his work on corrosion, nanomaterials, and surface modifications in metals like copper and iron. Prof. Berisha is fluent in Albanian, English, and French.
