George Pallis

George Pallis received his BSc (2001) and Ph.D. (2006) degree in Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). Currently, he is Lecturer at the Computer Science Department, University of Cyprus. Previously, he was visiting Lecturer and Marie Curie Fellow at the same department. His research interests include content distribution networks, cloud computing, Web data caching, information retrieval, online social networking, vehicular networking, and Web data clustering. He has published in top journals and conference proceedings in his area of study and he has co-edited a book on Web data management. He is member of the editorial board in the IEEE Internet Computing magazine and the International Journal on Internet and Distributed Computing Systems. He is member of IEEE and ACM.
