Gilles Lecocq

Gilles Lecocq is Professor of Psychology, President of the Francophone Society of Sports Philosophy and Vice-President of the French Pierre de Coubertin Committee. It develops training and research activities that reveal the fundamental dimensions of the intangible heritage of humanity in the fields of sport, education and health. Thus, by focusing on the vulnerability of the excellent person and the excellence of the vulnerable person, it is for him to think at the same time, a theory of the subject in evolution, a theory of intercultural action in mutation and a theory of cultural organizations living under the seal of metamorphosis. It is in this perspective that his involvement within the Catholic Institute of Paris in the Research Unit “Fragilities and Institutions” leads him to take an interest in two higher educational foundations: an Echology of Joy and a Universal Empathy.
