Giselle Navarro-Cruz

Giselle Navarro-Cruz is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Studies at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Dr. Navarro-Cruz earned her Ph.D. in Education from Claremont Graduate University, her MA in Child Development from California State University, Los Angeles, and her BA in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. Dr. Navarro-Cruz’s research, teaching, and advocacy are driven by her commitment to providing equitable and accessible quality early learning and care (ELC) for young children and families. Her current research and advocacy work focuses on strengthening resources and practices for parenting students in higher education and enhancing practices, teacher preparation, and policies for multilingual and multicultural children and families.
