Kheng Ly-Hoang

Kheng Ly-Hoang Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Early Childhood Studies Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. As a teacher-scholar with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and higher education, she designs courses to encourage her students to interrogate and reconceptualize early childhood care and education. Her current research program includes investigating the intersections of child development, early childhood education, critical praxis, and equity, emphasizing teacher preparation, teacher identity development, cultural competence, pedagogy and curricula (including STEM), and teaching and learning.
