Ms. Davis McGaw has 8 years experience as a PCADV certified Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Counselor; three years as an Olweus' certified Bullying Prevention Counselor; 12 years in retail management. Davis McGaw's current focus centers on equity in education, placing learners, from K through doctoral level, at the center of every educational policy, initiative and institution. Her work is informed through her experiences as a public educator promoting informal education initiatives while a direct services counselor; as Director of Teen Services and Interim Unit Director of a Boys and Girls Club; a parent of seven children educated in eight different nations. The Davis McGaw Family Foundation was established as a commitment to the development of an equitable, affordable, diverse educational system in the U. S. A. with the goal of promoting economic stability for all.
