Mohinder Chand Dhiman

Mohinder Chand Dhiman is currently Professor, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. He has also served as professor School of Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management, Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala, H.P from 1-11-2022 to 30-11-2023. Dr. Mohinder Chand joined the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University as Lecturer in November 1993 and became Associate Professor in the same department in January, 2006 and subsequently joined as professor in Jan. 2009. Dr. Mohinder’s teaching interests have been in Travel Agency Management, HRM in Hospitality and Tourism, Hospitality Finance& Accounting, and Hospitality Strategic Management. As a part of his research program, Dr Mohinder has guided 20 PhD students and 8 M.Phil students, Dr. Mohinder has published more than 110 research papers in Tourism and Hospitality journals and other Journals & books of international repute Dr. Mohinder has authored/ co-authors / co-edited 14 books such as International Tourism and Hospitality in Digital Age (2015) IGI-publication USA , Opportunities and Challenges for Tourism and Hopsitality in The BRIC Nations ( 2016) IGI-publication USA, and International Travel Agency and Tour Operation Management (2019)- IGI- Global publication USA and AI and Emotional intelligence in Modern Business Management (2023) IGI- Global publication USA. Presently, he is editor of International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems (Scopus Indexed). Dr. Mohinder is also serving as Editorial Board member of various international and national journals. He received his Ph.D. degree from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He is Vice –President, Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress (ITHC) and also General Secretary of Indian Hospitality Congress (IHC).
