Saumya Kapil

Saumya Kapil is a Junior Research Fellow in Tourism Management at CHRIST (Deemed to be) University, Bangalore, where her research focuses on the multi-stakeholder approach in lake conservation and its impact on community well-being. She has also been awarded the ICSSR Research Fellowship in her field of study. She has successfully completed her Masters in Travel & Tourism Management from Amity University, Rajasthan. She has one year of industry experience working in a leading tour operation company. Her scholarly contributions are evident through her publications in areas such as homestay tourism, animal welfare practices, experience tourism and environmental conservation, highlighting her dedication to responsible and ethical tourism. Additionally, her research interests extend to encompass broader subjects, including circular economy, sustainability, and conservation studies.
