Sergiy Plankovskyy

Sergiy Plankovskyy is originally from Volodymyr-Volynsky, Ukraine. He has 35 years of international experience in the research and development of processing with intense energy fluxes (mainly technologies using plasma, laser, and detonation sources). After being Head of the Faculty of Aircraft Engineering at the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”, he is now Head of the School of Energy, Information and Transport Infrastructure at the O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He has over 200 refereed publications and has supervised 11 Ph.D. students to successful completion. His research interests cover innovation technologies, including the methods of manufacturing for the digital industry. He is a member of the Expert Council on Mechanical Engineering of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA), Ukraine.
