Stuart D. Galup

Stuart D. Galup is an Associate Professor of Information Technology at Florida Atlantic University. He holds a DBA from Nova Southeastern University and is a Certified Computing Professional. He is a Certified Computing Professional, ITIL V2 Service Manager, Certified ITIL Expert (certified in all Intermediate Lifecycle and Compatibility Streams), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT Consultant/Manager Competence, and Consultant/Manager Competence Certificate in ITSM according to ISO/IEC 20000. Dr. Galup’s professional work in the transformation of information technology organizations was featured in Computerworld and Datamation. He has published over 29 academic articles in journals such asCommunications Research, Communications of the ACM,Journal of Computer Information Systems, Communications of the AIS, and the Journal of Knowledge Management. He is co-author of “Building the New Enterprise: People, Processes, and Technology” and “The IT Organization: Building a World-Class Infrastructure,” both published by Prentice Hall. Dr. Galup has the distinction of being the first Professor at Florida Atlantic University in the College of Business to be awarded a U.S. Patent.
