Devaki V. is working as Assistant Professor of English, Vignan University. She has 4 + years of research and teaching experiences in the field of English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics. she has cleared National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). She did Master of Philosophy in English Language Teaching at Anna University, Chennai, and her Masters in Comparative Literature at Pondicherry Central University, Pondicherry. She worked as an Assistant professor of English at Vels Institute of Science and Technology (VISTAS) deemed University, Chennai from 2017 to 2019 and Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai from 2022 to 2023. She received an Appreciation Award for the Best Utilization of Library Facilitates at the Vels University, 2018. Her area of interest is ELT; EAP,ESP, ERPP, ESL. Literature; LGBT, post-colonial literature, and modernism, literary theories, English Language teaching. She has published more than fifteen quality research articles in International and National renowned peer-reviewed and refereed indexed journals. She has published five book chapters with ISBN. She has also presented research paper in International and National Conferences. She has been a reviewer in more than four International Journals in English Language, Literature & Culture. She also attended a One-month residential induction training program organized by Pandit Mandan Malvaliya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMNMTT), MHRD, Government of India from Nov to Dec 2017. She has received certificates for online courses through coursera from different international universities worldwide like University of Houston, Colorado, Wesleyan and Arizona State University.
