Nikolaos Karagiannis is a Research Scholar at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity, a Professor of Economics at Winston-Salem State University, North Carolina, an invited visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge, England; and the co-editor of American Review of Political Economy. He has published extensively in the areas of economic development, public sector economics, and macroeconomic policy analysis. Professor Karagiannis is particularly interested in developmental state theory and policy, and his research has focused on the applicability of this perspective in different contexts such as in EU countries, the United States, Caribbean small island economies, North African countries, and China. He is the author, co-author and co-editor of twenty two books and has published over 150 papers as refereed journal articles, books chapters and op-ed.

She holds a Doctoral Degree in Education from Indiana University and has taught at various universities and colleges, including Winston-Salem State University, University of South Carolina Beaufort, and Ivy Tech Community College. With a strong focus on nursing and health professions, Goodwin has taught a wide range of courses, including Community Health Nursing, Nursing Research, and Mental Health Nursing. She has a keen interest in health disparities, social justice, and equity issues in education and healthcare, as well as women's health and literacy. Goodwin is known for her innovative teaching methods, such as developing online teaching formats and incorporating service learning and disaster nursing into her courses.
David B. Stewart, Ph.D., is a highly accomplished academic with a diverse educational background encompassing finance, statistics, and economics. Currently serving at Winston-Salem State University, he has taught a wide array of courses over his tenure. Dr. Stewart's published works include books and book chapters on personal financial planning and foreign direct investments, as well as refereed journal articles discussing national health systems and the role of foreign direct investment in various income countries.
