Reviews & Statements

With the growing interests in web-based databases, this book will be a valuable source of information for people in both academic and industry who are interested in understanding the issues/concerns as well as the tools and techniques for the design and implementation of the database applications in the web environment. The flow of information is great in this book. Chapters complement each other very nicely. The issues in the integration of the older technologies including the relational systems with the newer technologies including object-oriented and we-based systems are clearly and concisely presented in this book. One great aspect of a book is its readability. The chapters in this book are very well organized and written with detailed discussion about the subject matters, complemented with examples and analysis of the results.
