Description & Coverage
Description:

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles have evolved circular economy practices, such as waste reduction, material reuse, and sustainable resource management, across different periods. Furthermore, transparent ESG reporting and disclosure standards play a critical role in fostering accountability and maintaining stakeholder trust. Thus, they offer insight into mitigating environmental impact and enhancing social responsibility. By facilitating effective assessment and appraisal of ESG performance, ESG metrics can be practically incorporated into circular economy business models.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategies for the Circular Economy provides insights and research findings on the intersection of ESG factors and circular economy business models. It emphasizes the importance of supporting and incentivizing the adoption of ESG practices in circular economy businesses. Covering topics such as market leadership, digital governance, and emerging countries, this book is an excellent resource for business leaders, managers, executives, sustainability officers, consultants, analysts, policymakers, regulators, investors, asset managers, professionals, researchers, scholars, academicians, and more.
