Abstract

In today's world, climate change is a potential threat to women's health and well-being. The climate crisis impacts women's health through various sources. Women are increasingly vulnerable to physical, emotional, social, and psychological health outcomes. The United Nations (UN) has acknowledged that current changes in temperature and atmosphere due to climate change have a significant effect on various aspects of women's health. In this light, the purpose of this book chapter is to highlight the importance of the biological, psychological, and social impact of climate change on women's health. By thoroughly examining these studies, we aim to give a comprehensive conclusion of the complex relationship between climate change and women's health and well-being. Results underline the necessity of fostering an interdisciplinary approach to policy development to focus on women's overall health and development. In conclusion, this study successfully enhances our understanding of women's health and drives meaningful action in research and real-world applications.
