Abstract

The ancient Indian epic Ramayana, composed by Sage Valmiki Muni, holds profound significance in the land of Bihar, India. This literary masterpiece is not merely a story but an integral part of Hindu holy literature. Numerous locations across Bihar are associated with events from the lives of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, depicted in the Ramayana. One such location is Sitamarhi, where Goddess Sita emerged from the shattered remains of a vessel during King Janak's ploughing ceremony.
