Abstract

Sustainability and decreased carbon output represent the main reasons behind people choosing electric vehicles. Normal adoption of electric vehicles faces multiple obstacles. User range anxiety arises from the short supply of EV charging stations which prevents long-distance travel. EVs currently possess higher initial prices than conventional petroleum-powered vehicles which reduces their affordability for a wide range of consumers. The slow duration of EV charging creates major discomfort because charging times vastly exceed the speed of tanking up gasoline-powered vehicles. Regular use of batteries leads to aging that decreases their operation efficiency while negatively impacting vehicle resale prices. The adoption of electric vehicles requires improvements in battery technology alongside governments making feeble policies and extending charging stations across the market.
