Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has influenced healthcare management (HCM) over last two decades through medical imaging interpretation, streamlining administrative process, personalized treatment plans and prognosis. With bibliometric analysis, the chapter aims to underline forthcoming trends, influential authors and directions in the area of AI-driven HCM. Using SCOPUS database to retrieve the articles between 2003-2024, 1515 articles were retrieved after applying validation criteria for article inclusion and exclusion using PRISMA approach. The chapter focused on trends over time, evolution of AI in HCM, journals in which they were published and citation of articles. Moreover, the chapter highlights publication year, influential authors in the field, number of authors impact citation metrics thereby highlighting the benefits of partnerships between different institutions or researchers. By identifing key focus areas and current topics that have received significant attention, this chapter provides guidance to scholars, policy makers, and practitioners in healthcare.
